We had a great mix of Members, Agents, Associations and Vendors with us this year and we were able to raise enough money to provide 2-4 scholarships through our sponsoring associations. We will update you on the scholarship details once the final arrangements have been made.

TBG Welcomes the MC&MCA as new affiliate sponsor!

The Minnesota Concrete & Masonry Contractors Association (MC&MCA) Board of Directors has endorsed TBG as a new member benefit for their association.

TBG will be hosting our 8th Annual Golf Outing at Hastings Country Club as we once again gather together to raise money for scholarships for our associations in helping young men and women earn an education in the construction trades.

Invitations will be coming out by the end of April with all the details. We look forward to seeing our Members and Agents for another day to give back to our great industry!

It’s 2011 and TBG would like to thank you for your business and let you know that we are positioned well for the future. We remain committed to delivering the best programs and services to meet your needs.

Our Loss Control services and Training Center are continually used by you with over 4000 Members and their employees using our facility over the last three years. Our “pay-as-you-go” system of payroll reporting and premium payments provides a true cash flow advantage and our aggressive claims management allows us to be proactive in resolving claim issues for our Members.

We added 80 new Members in 2010 and started out 2011 with 19 new Members on January 1. This should be a great encouragement to us all in the midst of the current economy as business owners recognize the value that TBG brings to their bottom line.

TBG Annual Update Meetings

Thanks for joining us for our 2010 Annual Update meetings. We experienced our best attendance yet with over 290 attendees throughout the seven meetings.

TBG continues to experience some exciting growth in 2010 as we have already written more new business through August than we did in all of 2009.

Thank you for your support and for your business as we move forward together as the long-term solution to workers’ compensation for Minnesota’s construction industry.

TBG's Golf Outing

We would like to say a big THANKS to all those who attended TBG’s 7th Annual Golf Outing on Monday the 26th! We would also like to express our gratitude to all those who generously donated prizes for the event. This outing has allowed TBG to add scholarships to various programs throughout the years as we strive to give back to the industry by providing opportunities for young men and women to develop their skills in the construction industry. Thanks for partnering with us in serving the construction industry!

Sandy Wilson

It’s with a heavy heart that we bring you the news that Sandy Wilson, Loss Control Coordinator, passed away on Friday, April 9th. Sandy was one of the 1st TBG Loss Control team members hired in November 2003 and was a vital part of what Loss Control is today. Her sense of humor, motherly advice, and genuine concern for fellow workers and members will always stand out as unique gifts she brought to work every day. She will be greatly missed as a friend and team member.
