DESCRIPTION:This class will provide an in depth look at compliance and safety issues related to the OSHA training curriculum set forth for the OSHA 10 Hour Construction Safety class. Topics to include Fall Protection\, Electrical Safety\, Excavation Safety\, Hand/Power Tools & several more topics necessary to complete the course objectives. \nWhen:\nWednesday\, Jan. 22\, 2025 7 AM to 3:30 PM with lunch provided\nThursday\, Jan. 23\, 2025 7 to 11 AM\n*Please note that registration is only required for Day One.*\n**Attendance is required for Day One & Two to complete the 10 hour requirement.** \nCost for the following type of participants:\n~$125 per person for TBG Members\n~$150 per Association member (ABC\, MSA)\n~$275 per non-member of TBG\n~ FREE – Starting in 2022 as a benefit of the TBG Safety Service Association all members will have two FREE OSHA 10 registrations per year. Once those two FREE registrations are used\, the cost to participate will then be $125 per member. \nRegistration is open now and closes Thursday\, Jan. 16. If after Jan. 16\, contact Emily at ecutts@tbg.jcwcreative.com to check for availability. Cancelations must occur ten days before the event for a refund. \nIf registration is full\, please contact Emily (ecutts@tbg.jcwcreative.com) to be placed on a waiting list. \n**Facemasks are optional** \n**Please note that all OSHA 10 courses are subject to cancellation if a 10 person minimum attendance is not reached. He is a Medical Review Officer (MRO) and is National Registry of Certified Medical Examiners certified with the DOT. In addition he is boarded in family medicine and a fellow in both the American College of Occupational & Environmental Medicine (ACOEM) and the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP). \nThis program complies with Federal DOT standards and Minnesota State Statutes and is designed to provide supervisors with the knowledge and skills they need to legally intervene and appropriately respond to a drug or alcohol reasonable suspicion occurrence in the workplace. Dr. Swann’s presentation focuses on real-world circumstances in addition to Minnesota State Statutes and Regulations. \nCertificates will be sent to attendees at the completion of the program. \nPlease note that once you are registered\, no refunds are available if you cancel.
