SUMMARY:Comprehensive Fall Protection 8-Hour
DESCRIPTION:TBG is proud to provide our members with world-class fall protection training. Certified by the 3M® Personal Safety Division\, TBG offers in-depth\, hands-on instruction that helps prepare workers to recognize hazards and perform safely at height. \nUpon successful completion of this 8-hour course\, participants will immediately receive an interim certificate valid for 60 days. The level 1 certificate should arrive within 30 days. \nThe course will cover: \n\nFall hazard identification\nFundamentals of working at height\nFall protection oversight\nPassive systems\nAdministrative controls\nFall arrest system components\nHarness donning and inspection\nEquipment care\nRescue requirements\nSystem selection and set-up\n\nFor a full course description\, please visit the 3M Safety Training site at 3MST-6418-brochure-en.pdf \nLunch will be provided to attendees. \nPlease note that this session includes hands-on activities\, so wear comfortable clothing and sturdy shoes suitable for climbing and movement. Open-toe shoes are not permitted. \nTBG Members get one free seat a year. Additional attendees are $75. \nThe course has a limited capacity and can only accommodate 3 non-TBG member attendees. Final designation remains the responsibility of the employer. \nOSHA does not certify or approve specific training courses for Competent Persons. Employer designation is based on training\, experience\, and authority.

DESCRIPTION:This class will provide an in depth look at compliance and safety issues related to the OSHA training curriculum set forth for the OSHA 10 Hour Construction Safety class. Topics to include Fall Protection\, Electrical Safety\, Excavation Safety\, Hand/Power Tools & several more topics necessary to complete the course objectives. \nThis course is held at the TBG Training Center in Eagan\, Minn.\, at 2919 Eagandale Blvd\, Eagan\, MN 55121. Please enter the building on the north side under the TBG Training Center archway. \nWhen: \nThursday\, Oct. 22\, 2026 7 AM to 3:30 PM with lunch provided\nFriday\, Oct. 23\, 2026 7 to 11 AM\n*Please note that registration is only required for Day One.*\n**Attendance is required for Day One & Two to complete the 10 hour requirement. If an attendee misses more than 15 minutes of training\, an OSHA card may not be issued.** \nCost for the following type of participants:\n~$125 per person for TBG Members\n~$150 per Association member (ABC\, MSA)\n~$275 per non-member of TBG\n~ FREE – Starting in 2022 as a benefit of the TBG Safety Service Association all members will have two FREE OSHA 10 registrations per year. Once those two FREE registrations are used\, the cost to participate will then be $125 per member. \nRegistration is open for this course and closes Thursday\, October 15.
