Now more than ever, America needs men and women who will build. The current labor shortage in the building trades is projected to grow, meaning those willing to join the trades will be paid more, receive more benefits, and enjoy better lifestyles than at any other time in history.
The TBG Education Foundation has joined with associations throughout the building trades to create awareness of the many career opportunities men and women can find in the construction fields and assist them on their pathway to obtaining that career through scholarships, grants, and providing tools for schools.
In 2022, the Foundation gave over $28,850 for scholarships, which were matched dollar-for-dollar by the partners of the Foundation. In addition, TBG distributed $28,500 for grants, internships, and Tools for Schools programs throughout the state. Since its inception, the TBG Education Foundation has given out more than $268,000.
